On Izu, Day 2 Part 1

Day 2 of Izu started off with onsen :) and a very nice buffet breakfast, also provided by the hotel for free~ wahahaha.

We went to Kawazu to see the early blooming sakuras, but it was drizzling, so the sakuras were dulled a bit... [and it didn't help that maki and megumi had a small tiff at the train station... atmosphere a bit uh... tense.]:(But without further ado, I present the sakura pics in Izu, Day 2.

cute dog that paitiently kept this pose while i fiddled with my cam. The owner was MUCH-ly amused when i talked to the dog... and so were the passerbys. though i take comfort in the fact that it refused to stand still for anyone else. HAH! Me posing with YET another sakura tree sign talking about the sakura, saying that it blooms from jan to feb etc. Global warming this year pushed the blooming thing back.Of sun birds and sakura.... am suprised at how dense the blossoms are compared to the plum blossoms.maki
