On Kobe Part 3

Am SICKSICKSICKSICKSICK!!!!
Finally! a little time to myself for a breather. am sick, so am using that as an excuse to take a break from piano duties at church. I'm prob. gonna regret saying this, but i am SO going to get that grade 8 cert for piano when i get back to spore... am realising how impt the cert is... sometimes, that's all people see... and then maybe i should continue on for a diploma... haha. just to shove it in people's faces! HAH.

I have new floor mates [2]. they come from pakistan. somehow, they're both called sana. one sana is nicer than the other. Other Sana is pleased to announce to the world that she took 4 [ invisible audience gasps: 4!!! ooooh.] A level subjects, and got 4 As [extra emphasis on the 'A's please]. Other Sana seems to think i'm stupid... but then again, you can't fault others for thinking what's right. Both sanas blast music from the kitchen. both sanas study in the kitchen. both sanas have an american friend called melissa, who... is... .... .... well, american. Melissa and sanas eat in the kitchen on our floor, which is fine, but they dun wash up properly. Frying pans on our kitchen are BLACK. megumi took a look at it, and she's certain that the black residue used to be BREAD. Sanas are in all but two of my classes.

Sanas are probably nice people.

Ah yes, I was talking about Kobe. On the third day, we went to nara![truthfully, i've forgotten the order of events.]

There are lots of Deer in Nara. they're even called living treasures... said living treasures tried to eat my horse toy that i hang from my bag [ROSIE!!! YOUR HORSE HAS BEEN MUNCHED ON!!!.] Xia yi is afraid of animals, but i managed to get her close enough to pose with the deer.[wasn't easy, i tell you... she's a stubborn one.] Xiayi shys away from the deer. [Was much-ly amused, esp when she screamed "文岑！救救我！啊啊啊啊啊！" In her defense though, the she was surrounded by deer at that time.] I show her how it's supposed to be done. feeding the deer with crackers. Me, who stoopidly went to climb up the lantern outside Kasuga Taisha, a shrine famous for stone lanterns. Me again.... who remains stuck up on the lantern....finally down on level ground. stone lantern and baby deer who ran away from xiayi... entrance to the shrine.... can you see the stone lanterns lining the way? Inside shrine building... lanterns galore. taking a break. more lanterns. pretty right? xia yi seiza-ing on the tatami floor. peek-a-boo. Some More Lanterns. on to see the daibutsu.this is the home of the Daibutsu, the big buddah in Nara. deer are really everywhere. Inside the home of the Daibutsu. Too dark to take pics well. there's a pillar with a hole innit. people were trying to go through. one last pic: Is it me, or are we starting to look alike? on the way back to kobe: xia yi hopping along the wooden stumps lining the path back.
